TORON
INGREDIENTS:
4 cooking bananas
8 lumpia wrappers
3 table spoon vegetable fat
¼ cup sugar (granulated)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Peel and slice lengthwise each banana into 4 parts. Wrap
each slice in lumpia wrapper Tuck in and fold the two ends. Fry them in
moderately hot fat till they are golden brown. Drain off the fat, and roll each
piece in the sugar and cinnamon mixture, serve them while the wrappers are
still crunchy.
